Perfect way to reuse, reduce and enhance your branding!

Step 1 – Obtain Cardboard

First, find yourself some heavy cardstock or thin cardboard! Cereal boxes and snack cracker boxes are easy to find, perhaps right in your own house!

Step 2 – Laser Cut a Stencil

Next, laser cut a stencil. The main tip you need to know about stencils is that you need to create shapes that do not have another shape inside of it.

The letter ‘O’ is a great example. If you add a line down the middle, the laser will cut out each crescent side of the ‘O’, giving it the appearance of that letter, and not just a solid circle.

It’s that easy!

Step 3 – Use Your New Stencil

Your stencil is ready! You can design a logo to spray on the sides of your order shipping boxes and envelopes, which is great for branding your business!

Another idea is to enhance your laser art with painted backgrounds of various stencil textures.

Anytime you need a stencil, look in your recycling bin!
