How to Engrave Metal and Wood with WeCreat Lumos Flex

This is the WeCreat Lumos Flex Materials Test #6 – Wood AND Metal

I’m on a journey to find every perfect material setting for the Lumos Flex, let’s go.

The benefit of having a fiber laser AND a diode laser in the same machine is being able to do two things at once.

First, let’s line up an engraving design on the wood handle of this bottle opener. Make sure you have the blue diode laser selected.

Wood settings for this are 78 power, 200 speed, 125 line density. Perfect.

Now let’s engrave the metal part! Don’t forget to re-focus it!

Now back into the makeit program and switch it over to fiber laser mode and align the pattern and send it on it’s way!

Settings for this was 100 power, 250 Speed, 48 Frequency and 250 Line Density.

No need to switch machines, a complete project in less than 5 minutes.
