How to Engrave a Steel Bowl with WeCreat Lumos Flex

I’m on a journey to find every perfect material setting for the Lumos Flex, let’s go.

I scored this tall steel bowl at a thrift store, so you know that tag is never coming off.

Steel can be color engraved with the Lumos Flex, but another feature I never see people talk about is that it can engrave INTO tall objects easily.

Usually, a laser head needs to be focused right on top of the material, and needs space to move back and forth. Since the flex shoots out the beam from the top module, it’s not a problem!

I loaded up a cute cat svg and set the machine to fiber mode.

I wanted to slow is down a bit to give it a nice dark engraving. I ended up doing 100 power, 250 speed, 48 frequency and 200 line density. This took 2.5 minutes to engrave.
